The Process

The Black Collection Services debt recovery process is easily adaptable in order to suit the needs of your specific collection requirements and demands.

Black utilises a letter series style of collection whereby letters are automated to be sent on a pre-determined schedule suiting the specific clients. The first letter of demand is always scheduled immediately.

With all our clients, the above details of collection is flexible upon each clients needs, and we are able to adapt to any clients needs and preferences.

Commissions and Rates of Return

Commissions

As with any work that Black Collection Services undertake, the commission structure is negotiable with each client. Most of the work that is taken on is on a straight recovery basis whereby the client is charged only on collection of an account.

Other charges include a cost per contact and cost per hour per operator, these rates are usually implemented only on work regarding Ledger Management and receivables ledger work.

Black Collection Services adapt to each clients’ specific needs and can have a dedicated trust account opened if required. Payments can be made by Electronic Funds Transfer, at whatever frequency you request.

At each statement date an invoice would accompany your payment for the commission on amounts collected in that statement period. As with all things at Black Collection Services, the commission and timing of payments are based on negotiation and flexibility.

Rates of Return

Black Collection Services have an excellent rate of return on collections work undertaken. The overall rate on the entire book currently stands at around 75%, this includes both a high volume of consumer debt and also a large amount of corporate collections, one of the highest recovery rates in the industry.

We also act for a number of clients for whom we undertake a high volume consumer debt recovery and our rates of return in this area are approximately 40%, an outstanding recovery rate given the nature of the debts and debtors.

The variety of work that we undertake has given our Account Managers and the collection operators significant exposure to different types of debtors, increasing their ability to deliver results for our clients.

Our aim is to deliver results to our clients and we devote significant resources to ensure that no stone is unturned when we collect outstanding debts.
